Introducing Redeemer's Staff

Dan Thompson, Senior Pastor
Welcome to our brand-new Senior Pastor Dan Thompson and wife Debi. Pastor Dan grew up in the Evangelical Covenant Church and trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at a young age. He has pastored several churches in the Twin Cities area, and over the last 16 years has helped 12 churches in the process of pastoral transition. He is excited at the possibilities God has for Redeemer Covenant Church in its next season of ministry. Mountain biking is a favorite hobby. Pastor Dan says he follows all Minnesota sports teams, even when they are letting us down.

Amy Long, Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministry
Amy has a B.A. in Christian Education and Biblical and Theological Studies. Plus she earned her Master’s Degree in Christian Spiritual Formation from Wheaton College. She served churches in Chicago and Minneapolis. Then she came to Redeemer after several years working with children and families in a range of cross-cultural settings. Amy is passionate about creatively helping children and students encounter Jesus and respond to his call to join the Kingdom.

Krista Riedel, Office Administrator
Krista is excited to be back serving at Redeemer Covenant Church as the Office Administrator. She attended Concordia University-St. Paul for Music Performance in Handbells and directs the youth handbell ensemble at her home church, Hennepin Ave UMC. Krista’s husband, Darin, is an elementary music teacher in the Osseo school district and they reside in Brooklyn Park.
