Studying God’s Perspective for our Lives
Join us at 10 a.m. on Sundays for adult Sunday classes focused on deepening our knowledge of the Bible and our relationship with God. We meet from September through May, and there are a number of different class options to choose from. No need to sign up; just pick a topic you like, and come grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
Growing in faith and knowledge is a lifelong process that strengthens our relationship with Christ. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
As our understandings of his Word deepens, we grow in our ability to understand God’s perspective. And with a renewed understanding of his will, we can grow in our ability to discern it in our daily lives. That’s how adult Sunday classes help us grow together.
It’s easy to jump right in anytime, so come join us on Sundays at 10 a.m. in the Community Room.
NO ONSITE CLASS:
February 23-March 29, 10 am: “Rethink Poverty: When Helping Hurts”
- See ONLINE class notes from the facilitator
Based on the video series and book by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert, this 7-week class is an opportunity to consider the broken relationships that contribute to both material poverty and other forms of poverty. This study offers an important framework as Redeemer seeks to help our local and global neighbors.
POSTPONED: March 15, 10 am: Baptism Class
Join Pastor Ben and Ms. Amy to explore baptism and how to decide when you are ready to take that step. Baptism is an opportunity for forever followers of Jesus to publicly declare their faith in Christ and demonstrate God’s grace at work in their lives and for the body of believers to join in celebration! Like communion, there is no age requirement for baptism, and we want to support you in the conversation.
