A new membership class started Sunday, September 18, during the education hour at 10-11 am. You can still join. Subjects will include salvation, baptism, and communion, along with the purposes, structure, and affiliations of Redeemer and of the Covenant denomination.

If you are interested in being part of this class, please contact the church office

Read big. Read real. Read together.

Join us for an unforgettable journey to reignite our passion for the Scriptures. For 8 weeks—Monday, Oct. 3, through Sunday, Nov. 20—The Covenant Community Bible Experience will focus on “People of the Book” as we read and discuss the New Testament together!

A better Bible experience: What would happen if we actually read the Bible? Not a verse here or there, but the whole New Testament? What if, instead of going it alone, we could have a real conversation about the Bible—one anyone can join, no matter where they are in their faith journey? Community Bible Experience is about reading the Bible as it was meant to be read—whole books, in community. This is beyond Bible study, beyond reading in fragments, and beyond reading in isolation. Discover the complete story. Let’s read big, read real, and read together.

How it works:

  1. Read big. You’ll cover the whole New Testament in 8 weeks—reading 5 days a week, around 12 pages a day. The average day’s reading takes 30 minutes or so to complete.
  2. Read real. You’ll use a groundbreaking presentation of the Scriptures, called The Books of the Bible. It’s designed to feel more like reading the original.
  3. Read together. Your group will meet once a week for a book club-style conversation about the Bible.

What do you need to do now?

  1. Sign up to be in a weekly small group and order your copy of the New Testament that goes directly with the journey. Books cost $5 each and will be distributed in time to start the program. Choose one method:
  2. Come on Sunday mornings and participate with the rest of the church in worship services that will support the weekly readings by reflecting on the last week and getting excited for what is ahead.
  3. Pray about your participating in the program, and pray for the church family to be impacted by this program in a powerful way for Christ.

Savoring Fun Together

Come meet up with Redeemer friends for group recreation! There's something for everyone, and all adults are invited.

All-Adult Weekly Summer Golf: Every Tuesday, with tee times starting at 4:30 pm, Centerbrook Golf Course in Brooklyn Center. This isn’t a league—you pay only if you play. Golfers (and spouses) are invited to go out for dinner with the group after golfing each week. Contact Bob or Karen Rau with any questions.

Monthly Outings to the Minnesota Gospel Opry with other adults from Redeemer to enjoy the Minnesota Gospel Opry concert series. Concerts are held one Saturday each month beginning at 7 pm (doors open at 6:15) at Celebration Church in Lakeville. Admission is free; a freewill offering is received. If you are interested in dinner before the concerts, Cracker Barrel is located nearby. If you are interested in going but need a ride, contact Penny Mattson. Read more about the concerts >>

Staying Alert with Prayer Raid!

On the first Wednesday of every month, the community warning sirens are tested at 1 pm. The purpose of this test is to keep the system ready for severe changes in weather and the world’s climate. When you hear the sirens, remember that there is a faithful group of people joining in prayer at the Redeemer Covenant Church.

Prayer Raid!  |  October 5 at 1 pm  |  Memorial Room

We will spend time in prayer for our church, community, nation, and the world. Come join the Prayer Raid team!
