Moving Together Toward Healing
If you are feeling like you need a friend to walk by your side through a tough time in life, please contact one of Redeemer's pastors or call the church office for names of Stephen Ministry leaders. They will connect you with someone who can meet with you regularly to provide loving, confidential, individualized care and support when you're facing difficult circumstances:
- Death
- Job loss/transition
- Broken relationships
- Health concerns
- Empty nest
- Parenting difficulties
- Relocation
- Anything in which you find you are unable to cope
Stephen Ministers can be any Christian man or woman desiring to give supportive care to hurting people. To become a leader, it is important to commit to a two-year program which includes 50 hours of training, plus monthly meetings for continuing education and mutual encouragement. Contact the church office for more information about how to serve in this way.
