Help the kids at Zanewood Community School by donating school supplies!
Some students in our adopted school, Zanewood Community School, are unable to buy their own school supplies. Let's help by dropping off donations in designated containers at church. Suggested items:
During winter months coats, mittens, scarves, and hats are also needed. Mary (Paul) Johnson can give you information on the many ways to volunteer at this elementary school, located just a mile from Redeemer Covenant Church.
If you are interested in outreach to our Brooklyn Park community, you could get in on the ground floor helping Redeemer Covenant and La Bendición Covenant start an ELL class for anyone who needs help learning the English language. On March 8, 2009, Redeemer Covenant Church entered a partnership to reach the Hispanic community for Christ as La Bendición Covenant Church began meeting in the Redeemer facility. Their stated mission is "to transform families with God's power, love and bless to be blessing." They take their vision from Genesis 12:2-3, "You will be a blessing to bless," and seek to call the community to AGAPE:
Translated, La Bendición Covenant Church desires to Worship God with passion, Win families to God, Train disciples, Proclaim God's Word, and Extend blessings.
