J. Arthur Teresi Shares His Story and Art
Many of you were able to meet Christian author J. Arthur Teresi at Redeemer on Sunday, January 22. He explained and demonstrated how God has led him to take portions of Scripture and create cube poetry, bringing the passage to life in an insightful and meaningful way. In cube poetry, each line has the same number of syllables and that is also the number of lines in the poem, forming a “cube.”
His devotional guide called Good News for a Month helps readers cultivate and nourish their relationship with God. Each of the 31 days in a month focuses on a theme, which is supported by Scripture, a poem, reflection questions and an action step. He has also created beautiful framed pieces which feature a Scripture passage and poem printed on frosted glass.
To learn more about J. Arthur’s ministry through poetry, visit his website: www.eternalthanks.com. A copy of his book will be available in the church library in the near future.
